Yammen Jazbeh is a celebrated Syrian musician and composer whose journey began in Aleppo. He holds a Bachelor’s in Music and Qanun Studies from the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and a Master’s in Turkish Music from INONU UNIVERSITY, Türkiye. Representing Syria and Türkiye on global stages, Jazbeh has performed at prestigious festivals such as the Meknes International Festival (2019), Rabat International Qanun Festival (2023), and Ankara Music Festival (2024). His notable works include Fayrouziyat, Qanun Without Limits, Rituals, Synthesis, and Rituals 2, reflecting his innovative blend of cultural heritage and modern artistry. As a soloist, he has performed with renowned orchestras, captivating audiences with his mastery of the Qanun. His collaborations with musicians from Lebanon, Türkiye, Egypt, Tunisia, France, and Syria have enriched his compositions with diverse cultural influences. In 2022, Jazbeh founded Nun Culture & Arts to promote cultural exchange and artistic growth. An affiliated member of the Emirati Musicians' Association (membership valid until December 2025), he currently teaches Qanun at the Arabic Music Institute in Dubai, UAE. Through his performances, compositions, and teaching, Jazbeh continues to inspire, mentor future talents, and advance the art of music globally.
